Package: hidesvn Version: 1.2-1 I am the maintainer of the tool `hidesvn'. A small utility that uses LD_PRELOAD to load a library, to hide version control system directories (.svn, .git, CVS, _darcs, etc) when invoking tools such as tar, grep, du, etc. without needing to remember long commands to teach those tools to exclude these directories. Website: http://80386.nl/projects/hidesvn/ We also use this tool at work on Debian-based systems, so it would be nice if we could get this upstreamed eventually, so we don't need to patch our systems locally. I've written a Debian patch, stored here: http://80386.nl/projects/hidesvn/distfiles/debian/
