Package: wnpp
Severity: wishlist

Version: 3.3final-3
Description: SNPP client, or SNPP-to-TAP/IXO gateway
QuickPage is a paging program. It can speak SNPP to a server, or it
can speak SNPP as a server and dial your modem to send an alpha page.
 .
HylaFAX contains similar functionality but is more complex by at least
an order of magnitude. If you just need to send pages, this does
 everything you might want.

Previously packaged on Debian woody, but was removed later.

There is probably little work needed to update it to current standard.

Currently failing to install with the following errors:

update-rc.d: warning: /etc/init.d/qpage missing LSB information
update-rc.d: see <http://wiki.debian.org/LSBInitScripts>
/usr/bin/qpage already running.
dpkg: error processing qpage (--configure):
subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1

Regards,

Guillaume
