Please don't reintroduce this package. It was removed in #627413 [1] after the 
linux(-2.6) maintainer Ben Hutchings requested its removal, The removal was 
justified by the integration in the mainline kernel.

You also want to package a version which is ~3 years old. batman-adv had 11 
releases since then as external module (backport) and 14 releases inside the 
linux kernel. Several rather bad problems were fixed in the meantime (and 
backported to older kernel versions by the awesome linux-stable maintainers).

If you really, really, really, really, really, ... want to add something like 
batman-adv-legacy [2] (and no one else objects) then please do not use the 
names "batman-adv-kernelland", "batman-adv-dkms" and "batman-adv-source". It 
is rather confusing to have a module in Debian which overwrites the in-kernel 
one with a version that is really old and known to miss a lot of fixes.

And about the fixes. Maybe someone interested in batman-adv-legacy could go 
through the maintenance patches [3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15] first and 
backport them.

And please don't use the URL http://www.open-mesh.net/. The upstream homepage
is https://www.open-mesh.org/ and I think batman-adv-legacy uses 
https://github.com/freifunk-gluon/batman-adv-legacy
