Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist X-Debbugs-CC: debian-devel@lists.debian.org X-Debbugs-CC: debian-devel-games@lists.debian.org --- Please fill out the fields below. --- Package name: celstart Version: 1.4.0 Upstream Author: Vincent Knecht <vknecht@users.sourceforge.net> URL: http://www.crystalspace3d.org/main/CELstart License: GPL-2 Description: CELstart is an environment for making games using scripting alone (CEL's XML script or Python). Games are distributed in self-contained packages (so-called celzips) and can be played by the user by simply opening them - whether the user is on Windows, Linux or MacOS/X. . While CELstart is included with CEL you can download standalone binaries, so you need neither Crystal Space or CEL (which are included in the binary). You don't even need a C++ compiler to make games for CELstart.

Hi, 2013-08-16 17:58 Lucas Nussbaum:retitle 282666 RFP: cel -- a game entity layer based on Crystal Space noowner 282666 tag 282666 - pending thanks Hi, A long time ago, you expressed interest in packaging cel. Unfortunately, it seems that it did not happen. In Debian, we try not to keep ITP bugs open for a too long time, as it might cause other prospective maintainers to refrain from packaging the software. This is an automatic email to change the status of cel back from ITP (Intent to Package) to RFP (Request for Package), because this bug hasn't seen any activity during the last 14 months. If you are still interested in packaging cel, please send a mail to <control@bugs.debian.org> with: retitle 282666 ITP: cel -- a game entity layer based on Crystal Space owner 282666 ! thanks It is also a good idea to document your progress on this ITP from time to time, by mailing <282666@bugs.debian.org>. If you need guidance on how to package this software, please reply to this email, and/or contact the debian-mentors@lists.debian.org mailing list. Thank you for your interest in Debian,There's been 5+ years since the newest of the bugs was opened and 11+ of the oldest, and nowadays the upstream project doesn't look in very good health for a few years and completely stagnant in the last 2 years. I think that it's time to close these reports, I am taking the liberty of doing it now. However, if you are still interested, please reopen with the instructions given in the e-mail that I quote. Cheers. -- Manuel A. Fernandez Montecelo <manuel.montezelo@gmail.com>
