Description : A C++ toolkit for machine learning and image processing

Dlib is a general purpose cross-platform open source software library
written in the C++ programming language. It now contains software
components for dealing with networking, threads, graphical interfaces,
complex data structures, linear algebra, statistical machine learning,
image processing, data mining, XML and text parsing, numerical
optimization, Bayesian networks, and numerous other tasks.

Dlib is used in several academic project
(http://sourceforge.net/p/dclib/wiki/Known_users/) and has been
previously requested for packaging (RFP #800531).

This package could nicely fit into the DebianScience team.

Note that this is my first package, and I'll need a sponsor (Sylvestre
Ledru has accepted).
