* Package name    : golang-github-miekg-dns
  Version         : 0.0~git20151017.0.adeb323-1
  Upstream Author : Miek Gieben
* URL             : https://github.com/miekg/dns
* License         : BSD-3-clause
  Programming Lang: Go
  Description : DNS library in Go

 Complete and usable DNS library. All widely used Resource Records are
 supported, including the DNSSEC types. It follows a lean and mean
 philosophy. If there is stuff you should know as a DNS programmer
 there isn't a convenience function for it. Server side and client side
 programming is supported, i.e. you can build servers and resolvers
 with it.

I didn’t discover that the golang-dns package is the same upstream as my proposed ITP
for golang-github-miekg-dns. This packaging bug can be closed since the packaging
required is already present, and updated to the latest upstream version by bug 802434.

Tim.
