Bug#793349: RFP: openssh-hpn -- secure shell (SSH) client/server with HPN (performance) patches

Package: wnpp
Severity: wishlist

* Package name    : openssh-hpn
  Version         : 6.9p1
  Upstream Author : Chris Rapier <rapier@psc.edu>
* URL             : https://github.com/rapier1/openssh-portable
* License         : BSD
  Programming Lang: C
  Description : secure shell (SSH) client/server with HPN (performance) patches

This fork of openssh client/server provides a set of patches to boost
performance of ssh connections, either with None cipher (in local secure
environments), multi-threaded ciphers, adaptively growing buffer etc. It would
be a very nice addition for Debian installations on computing infrastructure,
especially in light of 10Gbit interconnects becoming more accessible.

Above I have pointed to the github repo which is current "main" repository
hosting the patches. Upstream's original page is http://www.psc.edu/index.php/hpn-ssh/
