No need to add the Debian TeX Maintainers in the upload field.
They do *not* have a gpg key in the keyring, so they cannot upload
anything ;-) Only real humans can be in there.

Fine, no problem. Just put your name in maintainers, and add
me as uploader, but not even this is necessary.

You can use, but then commit logs are sent to the debian-tex-maint
mailing list, which you probably don't want. So better to do
what you want manually, or follow the script and adapt in on the go.
