Bug#798716: ITP: webdeploy -- Deploy files using FTP

Package: wnpp
Owner: Daniel Bailey <d@nielbailey.com>
Severity: wishlist

* Package name : webdeploy
Version : 1.0
Upstream Author : Daniel Bailey <d@nielbailey.com>
* URL : https://github.com/danieljabailey/webdeploy
* License : GPL
Programming Lang: Perl
Description : Deploy files using FTP

Deploys files in the working directory to the
specified FTP server preserving directory
structure and ignoring unchanged files.

This is my first debian package.
I was surprised that there are no good systems available in the
debain package repository for deploying a website from a local
file system to an FTP server. This program solves this problem.

I use this to deploy websites. It is able to ignore specified
files (e.g. Makefiles) and will only upload files that have
changed or have been created since the last upload.

I plan to be the maintainer for this package but it is my first
package and so [I think] I need a sponsor.
