Hadoop is listed on so many job offers, and that seems a nice exit-way
to escape from "SAS B.I." hell, that would be really nice to be able to give
it a try without going through some contrived manual build process
as told here: https://wiki.debian.org/Hadoop .

In a learning/academic mindset, the amount of data doesn't matter.

I guess that people paid to handle this stuff 9 to 5
can handle the existing manual build.
