Bug#712938: sni-qt -- Indicator support for Qt

32-bit is far less important, because on 64-bit system it's needed for skype only (at least for me). All other apps used as daily driver are 64 bit. I tried to compile on core i7 and I finished with compilation error as shown above, after approx 5 minutes. So it's possible you didn't reached the point when compilation fails.

However I'm not sure if I did all things properly, in any case patch was not applied clean. I was forced to use -f switch and there was some "hunk failed" messages. I'm going to try again in a few days, but first I need to carefully figure out how that build stuff works. Once you will be succeded, please share your debs, if I will be succeded I will do the same...

Or if anybody managed to apply this patch, please share debs... since we can't count on any official support, maybe somebody will able to prepare unofficial build. Qt4 is not going to be updated anymore, so this would solve all problems forever, at least for qt4 apps (gkt ones is another story, again debian maintainters failed with that for many packages).
