I'm doing the work on Github, as I'm trying to help the gRPC guys maintain it themselves to some degree (I work for Google). https://github.com/grpc/grpc/pull/1696 is what I've done so far. If you can help get protobuf3 into experimental, I can flesh the package out more there. In my next pull request, I can add you as an Uploader. regards Andrew
