I know it's dangerous, especially running a file manager as root. But
it's the easiest way for beginners to do things like editing system
configuration files.
Linux file managers should ask for admin authentication when root
privileges are required (like what the Windows file manager does), but
unfortunately they don't do that yet.
I'm open to suggestions, and I would understand if this wasn't accepted.
