Indeed, I am looking for a sponsor (co-maintainers also welcome), but I
though it best to postpone an RFS until after the jessie release. We
could wait, but if you'd like to sponsor an upload to experimental now,
please feel free to do so!
One note: I deliberately skipped updating to the new upstream release
because this revision already changes the source format, and having both
in one package revision would make it confusing to review / audit. But I
already have a patch queue lined up for this.
