I'm trying to setup my emacs for Haskell development and follow
https://github.com/serras/emacs-haskell-tutorial/blob/master/tutorial.md

The only missing part from this guide so far that's not in Debian is hasktags.

Is there any particular reason, why it's not packaged other than that nobody
did it yet? Or is there any blocker?

Thank you,

Thomas Koch

well, it wasn’t that great, you just did not realize it, I guess.

For example you produce library packages (libghc-hasktags-*) when you
are only interested in the resulting binary. Then the description is
broken, there is little point in having "... | ghc" dependencies, the
copyright is not in DEP5 form (see
http://anonscm.debian.org/gitweb/?p=pkg-haskell/tools.git;a=blob;f=template-debian/copyright;h=57900f5ae0e19e7abe9bee26984264b21f1742fb;hb=HEAD for a better example), and the watch file out of date... you shouldn’t be trusting random old blog articles on the internets :-)

Just uploaded it to NEW.

Maybe you can contribute a manpage (preferably directly to upstream at
https://github.com/MarcWeber/hasktags)?

(And as always I forgot to close the ITP in the changelog.)

Greetings,
Joachim
