  Description     : PTP (Precision Time Protocol) client for Linux

A PTP client supporting PTPv1 and PTPv2 (IEEE 1588-2002 and IEEE 1588-2008). 
Hardware timestamping support as provided by the Linux kernel can be used to
get accuracy < 1µs with supported network cards.  Linuxptp can act as a PTP
slave and master and can be configured to support several PTP usage
profiles.
