Working together (I think there was a plan, that the KDE teams of Ubuntu and Debian will collaborate more in the future) definitely makes sense here. However, the freeze for Jessie is coming close, especially as this package should go through NEW and needs additional 10 days to get from unstable to testing. So it might be safer to basically copy the Ubuntu package and upload it to Debian now and sort out the collaboration model with Ubuntu later. Kind regards Patrick
