I wrote to 'debian-hams@lists.debian.org' on December 1, 2013. Unfortunately, I could not find a sponsor there.

I maintain other packages, but do not have upload privileges for the archive. We need a Debian Developer.

Have you got a link to the VCS for this? I can take a look at the package
first and if there's no problems I can see, you can ask the Debian Hams
mailing list for sponsorship.
