Hi,

plymouth has apparently been orphaned by Daniel according to the changelog in
the 0.9.0-5 upload.

I'll try to have a look at fixing the current RC bug (#755537) and I'm
opening this bug to make clear that I'm planning to work on this.

The package description is:
 Plymouth provides an attractive boot animation in place of the text messages
 that normally get shown. Text messages are instead redirected to a logfile for
 viewing after boot.
