Package: coretemp

Severity: wishlist

GPL licensed code to read cpu temperature using msr registers (need "msr" to be loaded in /etc/modules or through "modprobe msr"). No need for additional packages such as lm-sensors. Coretemp has been tested on Intel QuadCore Q6600 with success.

I'm closing this RFP since this kernel module is now in the upstream
kernel and part of Debian's kernel packages.

"Only a promise," Lao Er said.
