Owncloud-client is now mantained by the pkg-owncloud team:
http://wiki.debian.org/Teams/pkg-owncloud
The packages has already an git repo:
git://git.debian.org/git/pkg-owncloud/owncloud-client.git
It additionally needs to more packages to be packaged for debian:
qtkeychain(ITP #699687) and ocsync(ITP #699690).
