Bug#730084: ITA: python-irc -- Internet Relay Chat (IRC) protocol client library for Python

Hello,

I'd like to adopt python-irc package. I'm currently using this library
in a project which consists in a bot writing on IRC important events
happening on a server (su/sudo executions, some ssh logins, monitoring
alerts...). The Debian package really eases the setup process of my
project and I hope I can find enough time to maintain it.

Please let me know if someone else would like to be the maintainer.
