I have tried to compile rhythmbox from git repository.

    $./autogen.sh --help
    Can't locate Automake/Config.pm in @INC (you may need to install the

    BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at /usr/bin/aclocal line 37.
    *** No yelp-tools found, please install it ***

I have linked aclocal to aclocal-1.4

/usr/bin/aclocal -> /usr/bin/aclocal-1.14

and automake to automake-1.14

/usr/bin/automake -> /usr/bin/automake-1.14

Not it seems to work fine.

Regards!

Automake 1.14 is already present in testing and unstable.

It's not really a good idea for upstream projects to have a hard dependency
on features in newer versions of automake that are less than a year old;
this makes it difficult to work with such projects on stable releases of
distributions. You may want to discuss this with rhythmbox upstream.
