Bug#620602: ITP: python-googleapi -- Google API client for Python

Any progress on this since 18th March please? I have a need of it for
using with 'gcacli', and the ubuntu package, although it installs,
doesn’t quite work correctly. Is there a 'beta' version of
'python-googleapi' to try out and test please?
