The agent is an application which run as a background process inside the
guest. It provide information and preform actions that can't easily be
achieved from outside the guest's operating system.
.
It consist of a daemon and different PAM modules to achives SSO for the
VM running on the top of oVirt. It also reports back statistics, logged
users and installed applications.


As a side note, the support on debian/ubuntu systems is not complete.
