Package: wnpp
Severity: normal

KVM has gained support for ia64, ppc and s390 in addition to i386 and
amd64. I currently have no machines based on the new architectures.

Before enabling these, i'm seeking some help with testing the arch
specific features. If you'd like to help beyond testing and be a
comaintainer, i'll move the git repository to git.debian.org.

You can also reach me on IRC, my nick is shoragan.

Thanks,
Jan Lübbbe

I think this RFH can be closed now. Qemu-kvm is being merged
into qemu, and we plan to drop qemu-kvm package for wheezy+, --
only difference between qemu-kvm and qemu left is PCI device
assignment, it shuold be in upstream qemu in version 1.2.
And there in qemu, things are quite a bit different, qemu
has always worked on other platforms, now it is just an added
option (-enable-kvm). It is more: qemu-kvm does not have
much non-x86 code specific to kvm, non-x86 bits are the same
in qemu and qemu-kvm.

So it looks like we survived so far... ;)

Thanks,

/mjt
