I had a look at svn://sourceware.org/svn/prelink/trunk

And yes it is not much activity there but latest is in April 2012 so it is not forgotten :) .

Maybe we can contact the one and only prelink developer Jakub Jelinek <jakub@redhat.com>
to forward bugs upstream and whether he plans on supporting it in future.
