Honestly, it's the first time I hear about it.. It seems nice and I
like your code, but being something that is not a common dependency
(sid shows zero rdepends) and that is big (7Mb), I am not comfortable
using it for a module that would be otherwise just a few kb... And for
non-Debian users this might be a nightmare.
It is a pity, because you have the problem completely solved there.
