The Extensible Metadata Platform (XMP) is created by Adobe is for embedding
descriptive metadata within images (see http://www.adobe.com/devnet/xmp/), and
is widely used (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Extensible_Metadata_Platform).
This library is needed by didjvu, would be nice anyway to have it packaged.
