A quick howto, from back of my head.
By the way, what alessio has to do with all this?
# Initialize a new Git repo with upstream sources
tar -xvzf ../boot-repair_<version>.orig.tar.gz
mv boot-repair-<version>/* .
git add *
git commit -a -m "Added initial upstream sources v<version>"
# Add the debian dir in a new branch
git checkout -b debian
upstream-branch = master
debian-branch = debian
export-dir = ../build-area/" >debian/gbp.conf
[ ... add all your files in the debian folder ...]
git add debian
git commit -a -m "Added initial debian folder"
# Now you can build
I hope that helps, cheers,
