Bug#600777: attempt to help
Hi,
I looked into this RFH. After digging through the various places, I can
give some pointers to prospective helpers.
The package is maintained in svn. You can check it out at:
svn co svn://svn.debian.org/svn/pkg-cryptsetup/trunk cryptsetup
This will give you the debian directory of the for the package. The
upstream source is probably to be taken from
http://code.google.com/p/cryptsetup.
The maintenance model seems to be committing solutions directly to
upstream, then wait for a new upstream release and then update the
debian package. This has the advantage of shipping few (currently zero)
patches.
It is not that easy to see where help is needed. Even though the list of
open bugs is always a good point to start, many of them are already
solved.
