Maybe not mention it at all in the synopsis. Who cares about the font being FrueType, OpenType or whatever? I'm not sure about talking about "issues in <foo> are fixes and <bar> is added" as this may change in the future (who knows?). Package descriptions should avoid mentioningthings that are likely to change over time because nobody will think about updating the description in the future..:-) BTW, the font is for Kannada *script* not language...:-)
