I started working on packaging SOPE and SOGo a few months ago and I
made of lot of progress during debcamp/debconf. You can find the
current state on launchpad:

Note that this is a work in progress and might be broken from time to
time as I'm not doing rigorous testing before committing things at the
moment. There are still a few issues left, such as decoupling the
embedded javascripts libraries and linking SOGo to GnuTLS instead of
OpenSSL (I already ported SOPE to GnuTLS and that patch has been
accepted upstream).
