Unfortunately, upstream is completely unresponsive. He's maintaining the
package in Ubuntu but doesn't reply to any mail I've sent him over the
last few weeks. easystroke needs work on the build system (no support
for noopt for instance without patching). It's not too complicated, yet
without communication with upstream, I'm not really seeing this.

I'd still love to see easystroke's features in Debian but I guess
someone else has got to do it... sadly...
