Additionally to my concerns towards cernlib in general (see answer to
#619393), I think that GEANT is not free software. At
http://cernlib.web.cern.ch/cernlib/conditions.html
it says:
(C) Copyright CERN except where explicitly stated otherwise. Permission
to use and/or redistribute this work is granted under the terms of the
GNU General Public License. FLUKA routines included in GEANT3 are joint
copyright of INFN and CERN and are not licensed under the GPL:
permission to use and/or redistribute outside GEANT3 should be
negotiated. The software and documentation made available under the
terms of this license are provided with no warranty.
If necessary libraries for the use of GEANT are not licensed under the
GPL and are explicitly forbidden to redistribute and use outside of
GEANT ("should be negotiated" sounds like "is not allowed" in my ears)
this can only maybe pass into non-free, but I am not even sure
redistribution is allowed, the only license-related thing I could find
about fluka is in 2005/src/geant321/examples/gexam4/guphad.F:
