to clarify things: i still have the intention to package this. the
package is in a state in which i could even look for a sponsor (though
i'm pondering whether to create a modified upstream tarball and kick out
glew).

the reason i have not pushed this further is that i don't think it's a
good idea to have a library in debian which no package uses, and the
reason i packaged it is openscad (#583476), which is in a similar state
as this package, but not quite as uploadable (minor copyright issues,
packaged from git waiting for an upstream release) and more active.

if (as suggested in the automatic itp->rfp mail) anyone else wants to
use or maintain this package, you can try the package files at the
location above; please drop me a line and i'll start to look for a
sponsor or we can co-maintain it.
