 The package offers a set of functions for drawing special plots.
 This comprises stem.leaf which plots a stem and leaf plot, the bagplot 
 to plot a 2D variant of boxplots, faces plots chernoff faces,

 slider functions for interactive graphics.

The package is available through the cran2deb effort at
debian.cran.r-project.org
and two independent related efforts. The "bug" is a missing
integration of such external repositories, not the missing package.
