  Description : macro assembler for 8-bit microprocessors

dasm is a macro assembler for the following 8-bit microprocessors:
 * MOS 6502 and 6507
 * Motorola 6803, 68705 and 68HC11
 * Hitachi HD6303
 * Fairchild F8
.
It also includes machine runtimes (support headers) for the Atari 2600
VCS and the Fairchild Channel F VES.

It turns out dasm isn't trivial to package:
* it tends to segfault on 64-bit platforms;
* it includes test code with unclear licenses, code whose authors
  don't all respond to email;
* the documentation is out of date, despite some efforts to improve it
  in the subversion repository (which hasn't seen much action in the
  last 18 months).

Upstream is quiescent, with no posts to the discussion list in over
year.

My intention was to package dasm to build boing26, but it's easier to
convert boing26 to build with xa65 which is already packaged.
