I branched Swami probably 6 years ago now to convert to GTK2 and
GObject. Its still not quite complete. As of late I have had more
free time and have been working on releasing FluidSynth 1.1.0. Once
that is done, I will be turning my attention to Swami again. Its been
far too long in development without a usable release. I'm looking
forward to finally releasing Swami 2.0! I'm not sure how long it will
take to get there, since I had thought this would be ready quite a
while back. I know this sounds kind of nebulous, but rest assured
that GTK2 Swami is alive and well.

Once swami 2.0 will be released I am immediately starting to work on it.
