Bug#579114: RFA: pywavelets -- Python extension implementing of wavelet transformations

I request an adopter for the pywavelets package. Package is maintained
as part of the Debian Python Modules Team and I suggests to keep it
there. I can act as a sponsor for non DD (even if he decides to move it
outside the team).
The package description is:
PyWavelets implements the discrete wavelet transform (DWT) popular in
numerical harmonic analysis for numerous families of wavelets, including
Haar, Daubechies, Symlet, Coiflet, biorthogonal wavelets in one and two
dimensions.
