the last activity here was about one year ago, is there any progress?

Surprisingly, you are talking about sakura 3.3.3, which the web page
I am seeing is stating 2.3.7?

Anyway, I am running my home-brewn sakura 2.3.7-0.1 and it works 
nciely, and evilvte seems nice too, but it does not allow to
change the color of the background, or I didn't manage, and has
some other shortcomings (already mentioned).

So is there *any* chance to get that out at some point? Anyone still
interested in it?
