i've been working on my own local copy of the git repository daniel posted, and am currently updating the debian/copyright file as best i can and some other minor fixes. i don't have write access to the repositories at debian-maintainers.org, so i can't push changes there, but i could publish changes somewhere else in the meantime. i think i can get this ready to upload in the first week of april. live well, vagrant
