nice; so as a user, you don't need to write out all the key ids by hand.

looking in caff(1) i see that caff has a mailer-send parameter, with an
example suggesting that you can send it through a preferred SMTP server
(even one that requires user name and password), but it says "setting
this option is strongly discouraged. Fix your local MTA instead"

thanks for prompting me to look this up, i didn't know about it before.

you certainly won't find any argument from me against pius making it
into the archive on the grounds that caff already does the same thing.
As i said before, i'm happy to see some friendly competition in this
application space.
