Bug#561872: ITP: extplorer -- a web file explorer and manager using Ext JS

Package: wnpp
Severity: wishlist
Owner: Thomas Goirand <thomas@goirand.fr>

  Package name : extplorer
  Version : 2.1.0b6
Upstream Author : Soeren Eberhardt <soeren@virtuemart.net>
  URL : http://extplorer.sourceforge.net/
  License : GPL-2
  Programming Lang: PHP / Javascript
Description : a web file explorer and manager using Ext JS

a web-based File Manager. You can use it to:
    * browse directories & files on the server and
    * edit, copy, move, delete files,
    * search, upload and download files,
    * create and extract archives,
    * create new files and directories,
    * change file permissions (chmod) and much more...
You can even use eXtplorer to login to the FTP server (like net2ftp)
and work as if you were using an FTP client. Access via WebDAV is
also possible (requires some extra work and a database!).
eXtplorer is released under a dual-license: You can choose wether you
want to use eXtplorer under the Mozilla Public License (MPL 1.1) or
under the GNU General Public License (GNU/GPL). Note that if you decide
to distribute/use eXtplorer under the MPL, you are not allowed to use
 the ExtJS Javascript library.

This ITP is an intend to finally have a web file manager included into
Debian as there's currently none of them, and this gap needed to be
filled by someone. I have picked up this software because:
- It's famous, and wide spread
- It has all the functionnalities that someone would need, especially
archive extractions which saves a lot of time to anyone working on a
website with FTP access only.
- It has a nice and convenient web interface which makes it nearly a
heavy client even though writen in PHP/JS (right click, drag and drop,
Ajax, etc.).
- It's using a well know and well maintained JS library (ExtJS) that is
also well maintained.
- It's author has been (very) responsive and helpfull to all my
requests, and I believe that he will be able to address any security
and bugfix concerns.

The package is already working and lintian clean (I know... doing things
the opposte way as it should here, as ITP should be filled first...),
only the edition of the authusers is missing, but the author promissed
me to fix it this week, so I can ask for a sponsored upload soon.

Note that I already have all the dependencies package work done as well:
- extjs 3.03 (itp already obtained)
- edit-area
- php-http-webdav
- php-services-json
- php-mime-type
- php-archive

I intend to have all these uploaded as well.
