Package: wnpp
Severity: wishlist

* Package name    : larceny-scheme
  Version         : 0.97
  Upstream Author : William D Clinger (http://www.ccs.neu.edu/home/will/) and others
* URL             : http://www.ccs.neu.edu/home/will/Larceny/
* License         : It's an LLGPL and MIT/X mix
  Programming Lang: Scheme and C
  Description : efficient implementation of the Scheme language

Larceny is a very efficient implementation of Scheme. One nice thing is
that it supports both R6Rs abd ERR5RS (besides older standards like
R5Rs).

>From the project page:

"Larceny is a simple and efficient implementation of the Scheme
programming language. Created originally as a test vehicle for research
on garbage collection and compiler optimizations, Larceny has grown into
a major multiplatform system, and is one of the very few implementations
that support all four de facto standards for Scheme: IEEE/ANSI, R5RS,
ERR5RS, and the R6RS."
