SyncEvolution just announced they switched to the newly re-released libsynthesis, which is LGPLv2/v3. See: http://lwn.net/Articles/333059/ http://www.synthesis.ch/indefero/index.php/p/libsynthesis/ http://www.estamos.de/blog/2009/05/13/syncevolution-09-beta-1-full-time-project-using-synthesis-syncml-engine/ It's only a beta for now and I'm not sure if it still requires all the funambol stack, but that looks good especially for the direct device-to-device connections.
