Bug#509532: Debian / Ubuntu packaging for Cluedome

Hi,

Please see below, regarding the copyright status of some of the data in the source
archive.

-- Message to support@cluedome.com --
Hi there,

I'm looking at packaging up Cluedome within Debian, after receiving this request:

http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=509532

However, despite the GPL, the source I have looked at contains copyright-infringing material (the data files which make it actually play 'Cluedo'). We wouldn't be able to include these in any Debian package.

Is it possible for you to provide a source archive which does NOT contain these data files? We would indicate on the package where to go to get hold of data files (is there a dedicated section on your site?)

While we can patch the files out, as we also include the original archive in the source packages, this would still technically be distributing copyright-infringing material.

Kind regards,

Tris.
