Hi all I tried to contact upstream about the debian/ directory question but didn't get any answer. I do not know if they are developing mumbles actively. The last checkin to svn at https://mumbles.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/mumbles/branches/backports0.4-branch was on 2008-11-29 16:29:38 +0100 (Sat, 29 Nov 2008).
