Note that the mesa package already contains the demo sources (and also the missing util directory). I think that a demo package should be build from the mesa package, and not be build from a separate source package. Members of the XSF told me on IRC that they do not see any gain in a demo package (the user could always fetch the source package). I won't adopt the package. I think it is better to convince the XSF and to remove mesademos.
