Bug#483297: fossology: packaging status
Just a quick update on the status of packaging fossology...
As mentioned in the ITP, I've been working to fix the upstream build and
install process in order to make packaging easier and more supportable. I
am doing that work on a branch of the upstream svn, more info at
http://fossology.org/new_build_system
At this point everything builds and installs properly, but I need to work
on automating things that need to happen post-install (db setup, user/group
setup, conffile setup, etc.). I'm working on that now and hope to merge all
this work on the branch onto the trunk soon. Then we need to shake out any
problems with the new system and then I can package.
